Cloudflare is fastest across 74% of the 1,000 largest networks
Cloudflare reports a rise from 60% to 74% since April, using a new measurement methodology that includes Challenge Pages. The results and measurement approach offer a view into how a large network tracks performance across providers.
- What
- Cloudflare reports it was the fastest provider in 74% of the 1,000 largest networks, up from 60% in April 2026.
- How
- It ranks providers using connection times and a trimean; browsers on Cloudflare-branded error or Challenge Pages fetch files from providers for measurement.
- Why it matters
- Real-user measurements across networks expose performance under varied Internet conditions, beyond controlled test environments.
